Tate reacted to the news on Twitter, saying he was “not told why” his stay was extended.

He wrote: “Today I was ordered to be under house arrest for another 30 days. “I wasn’t told why. 3 months in the dungeon, now 3 months at home. The police guard my house, if I leave, they will take me back to the dungeon. I haven’t had a single day of free time this year.”

They were granted a 30-day extension of their house arrest on July 18.

How long could Andrew Tate spend in prison?

Under Romanian law, the Tate brothers could face up to 10 years in prison for adult trafficking. Tates has denied all charges of human trafficking, rape and sexual exploitation.

However, they could face more time if convicted of multiple crimes, especially rape. Rape in Romania can result in up to 18 years in prison.
