Japanese company Nissin will soon bring to market a caffeinated gamer cup noodle, but it won’t be easy to get them.
If you are a gamer with a social media presence, there is no doubt that you have seen various products released with a gaming twist.
Whether it’s mixed drinks like G Fuel or beef jerky like JerkyXP, there’s definitely a market for gaming-focused products.
Japanese company Nissin is coming up with caffeinated gamer cup noodles, but good luck getting them.
Nissin releases gaming cup noodles in Japan with RGB design
In the press release, Nissin revealed the “Gaming Cup Noodle” product with a colorful design.
With RGB effects around the logo, the noodles come in two different flavors. The first dish is a garlic and black pepper yakisoba that contains shrimp, pork, eggs and cabbage while the second dish is a curry flavor that uses pork and vegetables as a base.
Nissin is also marketing it as a soup-free meal, so it won’t stain your peripherals when eaten in the middle of a gaming marathon.
The noodle dish will be released in Japan on September 18, 2023, with garlic and black pepper yakisoba priced at 280 yen ($1.90 USD) and curry flavor at 298 yen ($2 USD).
Since they have only just launched in Japan, people in other countries will have to find a way to import the products, otherwise there will be no way to buy them. Nissin also did not specify the amount of caffeine in the product, but we assume it will be less than a can of Pepsi.
