A Brazilian crypto streamer was left heartbroken after he accidentally revealed his private key live on stream, resulting in over $60k being stolen from his account.
YouTuber Fraternidade Crypto had quite an up and down day on August 31 as he lost a significant amount of money before regaining it later.
As reported by Protos, the streamer accidentally exposed his private key while broadcasting and did not transfer funds quickly enough, resulting in the loss of over $60,000.
Surprisingly, Fraternidade was actually contracted to the thief, who decided to return the $50,000 after the streamer made a tearful plea for the return of the cryptocurrency.

Fraternidade explained that he received a message on Discord from one of his viewers after returning from the police station and the two called.
“I almost told him: ‘I can’t talk now, I’m f*cking over here,’” the streamer recalled of the conversation and how his money was returned. any. “He said, ‘I’m fucked up here, I know what I did was bad,’ and he hung up and left.”
“I won’t say his name because he returned it and there’s no reason for me to bother him, even though what he did was wrong. Maybe I was soft-hearted… I’m ashamed to have gone through this, I’m ashamed. I just want to sleep,” the steamer added.
However, it seems that the thief’s guilty conscience could not help him get rid of his guilt. The police are still looking into the missing amount as quite a few people have tried to access his money. For instance, another viewer apparently took $1,900 and is currently under investigation.
Meanwhile, Fraternidade leaves his videos on his channel as a warning to others to be careful with what they show on stream, because chances are they won’t be as lucky as him when His cryptocurrency is stolen.
