Things are getting hotter for Joao and Tzarina in Below Deck Down Under. Their burning romance has recently been strained as the bosun and the chef grow closer.
Now that Joao has officially proposed to Tzarina, the chef begins to worry about the consequences of falling in love with Joao. She was well aware of his troubled past and she thought it was almost inevitable that he would hurt her. Unfortunately, fans agree with this possibility and claim that Joao “has not changed”.
Can Joao and Tzarina make it in Below Deck Down Under?
It seems that every “sailboat” so far in Season 2 of Below Deck Down Under has ended up in turmoil. According to fans of the Bravo series, Tzarina and Joao will be no exception.
Even Tzarina foresaw her heart breaking in front of Joao and she admitted her hesitation in the preview for season 2, episode 16.
“All my walls are up,” she said in the preview.
Although viewers of the reality series are enjoying the chemistry between the bosun and the chef, many are still under the impression that the Tzarina is playing with fire.
“I worry for her,” wrote one fan on the Below Deck Down Under Subreddit. “I can hardly believe he has changed at all. He just goes after what he can’t have, as always. The moment he thinks he’s blown away her walls, he’ll drop her like a stone. It breaks my heart to see her give in.”
Another agreed, writing: “Joao won’t be interested for long and I feel like Cheffy will be hurt by him.”
