Ninja launches podcast with Matthew McConaughey & Steve Aoki as first guests

Streaming star Ninja has launched his own podcast, which is expected to feature some A-list celebrity guests like actor Matthew McConaughey and DJ Steve Aoki.

Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins is one of the most popular streamers today. After rising to fame on Twitch — where he remains the site’s most-followed creator — he now streams on various platforms to the tune of hundreds of thousands of viewers.

While streaming is his first and most important career path, he’s taking a step back from setting up his game and launching a new business—a podcast.

Ninja is joining a slew of other streamers and content creators who have created their own podcasts with his very own show, ‘AFK with Ninja’.

Ninja is one of the biggest streaming icons in the world – and now he’s got his own podcast.

How to watch AFK with the Ninja podcast

AFK with Ninja officially launched on September 12. The show is billed as a “fresh, energetic” group featuring one of the world’s biggest streaming icons alongside major celebrities others produced in collaboration with SiriusXM’s Stitcher Studios and SALT.

The podcast will release two episodes per week, the first of which will feature multiple guests, such as actor Matthew McConaughey, quarterback Jared Goff, DJ Steve Aoki, and Fortnite streamer Chica Live, just to name a few. The weekly Monday episode is expected to focus on news and other current events.

“I’m excited to talk about something that’s been in the works for a long time,” Ninja said of his podcast. “I always want to find new avenues, and making my mark in the podcast world gives me the opportunity to sit on the other side of the table and ask questions myself!”

Fans can catch AFK with Ninja every Tuesday and Thursday via the SiriusXM app, Apple Podcasts and Spotify.

Earlier this year, Ninja commented on the “miserable” nature of streaming eight hours a day. However, with his new podcast schedule, it looks like the broadcaster is mixing things up on its own in a big way.
