Real Housewives of Orange County’s Shannon Beador is no stranger to a cocktail or two, as she’s been seen on the BravoTV reality series enjoying plenty of vodka and lemon-lime drinks. Not to mention her tequila escape with Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson of ‘Tres Amigas’.

In fact, Beador, 59, loves to have a good time and isn’t afraid to show it, as her RHOC Season 17 tagline is, “In Orange County, I decide — and it’s always alcohol tequila.”

Although she never had a problem with drinking and driving while filming RHOC, around 1 a.m. Sunday, Beador was involved in a hit-and-run.

Shannon Beador was charged with two misdemeanors after the hit and run

Although she appeared to be having fun on the show, Beador tested her drunk driving limits on Sunday when she crashed her car into a house in Newport Beach, CA.

While turning into a neighborhood in Newport Beach, Beador lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the side of a house after hitting the property’s cement fence.

She was later seen walking her dog after abandoning her car, possibly hoping that she would not be caught. However, the authorities caught up and arrested her for drinking and driving.

Beador was released the same day of the accident and charged with two misdemeanors, one including DUI.

Since crashing her car and fleeing the scene, Beador’s attorney Mike Fell has spoken out on her behalf, with Fell releasing a statement saying: “I spent quite a bit of time with Shannon yesterday. She is extremely remorseful and regretful.”

Fell continued: “We will wait for official information on this incident when it becomes available and Shannon is ready to take full responsibility for her actions.”

In addition to Beador’s attorney, her friend and reality TV star Jeff Lewis commented on Beador’s condition after the accident, saying, “She’s injured so she’ll recover.”

“Shannon and I have been friends for a long time,” Lewis continued. I was shocked – she called me yesterday and we talked for a while – and I was shocked because I’d never known Shannon to drink and drive before.”

Beador’s RHOC co-star and longtime friend Tamra Judge also released a statement about Beador, saying that although she and Beador spoke after the incident, she never mentioned it. Beador allegedly told Judge only that it had been “a rough few days.”

Beador has not yet released any information about the accident and her DUI charge. However, fans can tune in to RHOC Season 17 as it currently airs every Wednesday at 8 p.m. on BravoTV.
