In a series of TikTok videos that are now going viral, a mother shared the story of how her 7-year-old daughter got a tattoo from her aunt in California.
The daughter, named Jayde, apparently called her mother to ask for permission to get a tattoo but the mother refused. She then hung up on Jayde without taking her daughter seriously.
Jayde’s mother had no idea that she was planning to get a tattoo legally, despite the answers she received from her mother.
In the mother’s four videos she uploaded to TikTok, she exposed the illegal practice, urging viewers to pay attention to who they allow near their children.
She can also be heard asking her daughter to explain the situation, asking: “Whose idea was it for you to get the tattoo?” Jayde then replied: “Auntie’s.”
Even though Jayde is only 7 years old, her aunt tattooed a heart on her leg. She then continued to tattoo at least two other people without changing needles. Luckily for Jayde, she was first and didn’t get a dirty needle.
